Whitewater Jr.-Sr. High School operates both regular and special education programs for 120 young men, ages 12-18, who are residents of Trinity Children and Family Services - Whitewater. Whitewater Jr./Sr. High School is a nonpublic school that is certified by the California Department of Education Nonpublic Schools and Agency Unit. Whitewater Jr./Sr. High School contracts with the Banning Unified School District and the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools.
The ratio of adults who work directly with students is less than 1 to 4. The average class size is 13 students. This gives our teachers the opportunity to design and implement effective individual academic programs for all of our students. Our students participate in a full academic load that includes the following during their 8 period day:

Historically, our students attain growth of 2.5 grade levels in Math per year. In English, the students gain 2 months of knowledge for one month of classroom time. Behavioral Excellence is the goal at Whitewater Jr./Sr. High School. We focus on Attention, Cooperation, Organization, Responsibility, and Social Acceptance.
Whitewater Jr.-Sr. High School Physical Education program is participation
in CIF sanctioned sports such as basketball and baseball. We hope to
field teams for soccer, golf and 8-man football this year. Our coaching
staff emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship and high academic standards.
Whitewater Jr./Sr. High School is proud to offer an extensive job preparation program to our students all year long. We prepare our students to be productive citizens in the workforce of the future through participation in several "school-to-work" experiences on campus and in the community. During the last year many students were returned to the public schools with the improved academic and behavioral skills they learned at Whitewater Jr./Sr. High School.
